Philippines – March 2026
Hx Pro Inc., a leading Manila-based professional audio rental company, has officially taken delivery of the Philippines’ first DiGiCo Quantum 852 console, reinforcing its position as one of Southeast Asia’s premier DiGiCo rental partners. The system was delivered in December by Joint Venture Inc., and is now part of the company’s expanding top-tier inventory for large-scale productions.
The acquisition marks a significant milestone for the local live sound industry, bringing one of DiGiCo’s most powerful and advanced mixing platforms into the Philippine market.
According to Hx Pro Inc. Managing Director Rex Maliuanag, the company had planned the investment since the console’s initial announcement. “We’ve been eyeing the Quantum 852 from the moment it was introduced,” said Rex. “Due to strong global demand, it took some time before our allocation became available. For us, the decision to bring it in was a natural step.”
As one of the region’s largest DiGiCo rental partners, Hx Pro Inc. views the Quantum 852 as a strategic addition to complete its Quantum series lineup. The company is also seeing early signs that upcoming 2026 technical riders increasingly specify the Quantum 852 already appearing as a preferred or required console for major productions.
Alongside the Quantum 852, Hx Pro Inc. also received the country’s first Fourier Engine and Transform Suite. After an early demonstration, the team recognized its potential to expand creative and technical capabilities through seamless console integration and native VST plugin support.
“The Fourier platform impressed us immediately,” Rex added. “The integration with DiGiCo is seamless, and the ability to support industry-standard VST plugins within the workflow gives our engineers greater flexibility and control.”
With these latest additions, Hx Pro Inc. continues to invest in next-generation audio technology to support touring, broadcast, and large-format live productions across the region.
